Craig Olsen, Chief Executive Officer
Craig Olsen is the President of Scheduling Consultants, Ltd., and has led the firm in the preparation of detailed construction schedules for over 500 construction projects with project values totaling over $20 billion. His 30-year plus career in the construction industry brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to contractors and owners.
In 1988, prior to founding Scheduling Consultants, Ltd., Craig was a consultant facilitating the resolution of complex construction contract disputes, which included the preparation of entitlements/liabilities, quantum and schedule analysis. Craig's industry career also includes experience as the Vice-president of a consulting firm that helped clients identify constraints to construction productivity. Craig started in the industry as a union laborer working his way through the ranks to become a project superintendent before working in the consulting field. His years of practical and consulting experience make him a valued member of any construction team.
Carmelita Thorndike, Chief Operating Officer
Carmelita Thorndike is the Chief executive officer of Scheduling Consultants, Ltd., and has led the planning and development of 200 construction schedules over $8 billion. This includes subsequent schedule maintenance such as updates and meeting with clients to review and revise schedules. Carmelita is an expert in the use and application of Primavera (P3) scheduling software and has a comprehensive ability to create and analyze reports including look-aheads, subcontractor schedules, owner reports, pay applications, resource/cost graphics, impact analysis, and project narratives.
Carmelita was also the owner's representative of a $5 million office condominium project in Fort Collins, CO. Prior to her work at Scheduling Consultants, Ltd., she worked as a Project Engineer Intern for GE Johnson Construction Company as a database consultant. Carmelita has a B. A. in Construction management from Colorado State University (2001).
Aaron Harper, Senior Project Control Specialist
Aaron Harper graduated in May 2007 with a degree in Construction Management from Colorado State University. Aaron interned for SCL as an Assistant Project Control Specialist while attending CSU and was promoted to Senior Project Control Specialist after successfully completing his studies. After only two years at SCL, Aaron has assisted in the scheduling and planning of over $2 billion worth of projects and has become an expert in the use and application of Primavera Project Planner (P3).
Kylee O'Dwyer, Senior Project Control Specialist
Kylee O'Dwyer is a Senior Project Control Specialist at Scheduling Consultants; Ltd., she began working at SCL in August of 2005 as an intern. She graduated from Colorado State University in December of 2007 with a degree in Construction Management. Following her graduation, Kylee came to work for SCL and in her time here has become an expert in working with Primavera project planning software. Her expertise has contributed greatly to the success of SCL since joining the company and she has been a fundamental component of over $2 billion worth of successful projects and client relationships.
Josh Schaefer, Assistant Project Control Specialist
Josh Schaefer began working at SCL in March 2008 as an intern and in December of 2009, Josh graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management. In January of 2010, Josh took a full time position with SCL as Assistant Project Control Specialist; we are excited to have him join our team.
